Michael is a specialised insurance litigator who has more than 30 years’ experience, both as a Barrister and Solicitor at national and state law firms, successfully acting for his clients in the management of a wide variety of insurance disputes.

His expertise and skill set has seen the firm develop complimentary commercial litigation and employment dispute practices.

Michael was recently engaged by a new Queensland underwriting agency to draft their brief of documents to enable them to commence their operations in Australia including their home, contents and residential strata PDS’s, their respective Key Facts Statements, Privacy and Cookies policies and an Authorised Broker Agreement.

His knowledge of the rules of evidence, civil procedure in each State jurisdiction and the insurance industry as a whole enables him to confidently advise his clients and successfully manage a wide variety of insurance claims with the assistance of his dedicated team of young professionals.

Jan Domantay graduated from Monash University in 2007 from his double degrees in Science (major in Psychology) and Law and was admitted to practice in 2008.

Jan is passionate about solving client’s challenges, particularly in business, property and estate planning. He has a strong background in litigation in all levels of courts including VCAT, Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts. In his spare time, Jan loves travelling with his young family and is an avid follower of all things sports, particularly the NBA, UFC and AFL (massive Hawthorn Hawks fan).

Outside the office life, Dwayne enjoys keeping fit with martial arts, as well as enjoying family holidays with his young family.

He holds bachelor’s degrees in both Law and Science and was first admitted as a solicitor in 2007.

Isaac has extensive experience managing complex personal injury and property damage claims, while also gaining considerable additional legal and negotiation skills while in his role as an in-house counsel with a major national transport and logistics company.

He is a strategic and logical thinker who enjoys the wide variety of civil litigation the firm attracts from its’ corporate and institutional clients throughout Australia.

Isaac has strong technical and practical skills and adopts a pragmatic approach to his client’s issues which assists him to deliver timely and commercial advice together with outstanding outcomes for our clients.

Michaela has Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology before gaining her admission to practice.

She is a skilled negotiator but, when necessary, will diligently pursue our client’s claims through the court process to achieve the desired outcome.
